The 'trail,' such as it is, is just a few feet from the ragged edge of the bluffs. Poison oak is thick. Cell service is intermittent to non-existent. Should you be so unwise as to follow in my footsteps, make sure a responsible person knows where you are going. So they can arrange a decent burial for your remains . . .
Kidding. Sort of. You would actually be less than a half-mile from busy CA-1. Best to go in a group. I hate groups . . .
This part of the coast truly is a trip into the past of Old California. The landscape here has changed very little since Europeans arrived. It's an undeveloped State Park, and I fervently hope it remains that way. Not many places like this are left on this busy Coast!
