Diamonds & Rubies

The solar flares look like little rubies either side of a diamond during the 2012 total solar eclipse and the diamond ring effect. I was so lucky to get images of the eclipse with cloud covering the sun and rain pelting down on me 10 minutes before totality! It made the experience even more special, Machans Beach, Cairns, Queensland
