As the rain begins to fall over Trani Bay, an elderly woman hastens to close the shutters of her window overlooking the sea, bracing against the force of the rain as the wind whips through the bay. The facade of the building, made of yellow stones, bears witness to far more years of gazing out at the sea than its current inhabitant.
