One last dance...
I must remember next time I decide to do a self portrait, just how long it takes to get the idea from my head to the finished article. I've had this idea for a while and keep putting it off through lack of time. Some of you may remember that I made this tutu for a self portrait a few years ago (in comments). I always wanted to use it again and the pointe shoes I acquired recently seemed the perfect accompaniment. My ageing hands and feet spoil it hence the title. I take my hat (or shoes) off to ballet dancers...my feet were killing me from just posing in them. I'm not 100% happy with this but are we ever? Not sure I will try to recreate it though.
