The weekly challenge is colour and colour.

For The Weekly Alphabet Challenge - U for ugly.

 

This was a difficult challenge as I like taking photos of pretty things! My son has a gas mask so I asked him to put it on for a photo but as he obliged yesterday, he was not going to play ball today. So I was on the lookout for an ugly fruit when I came across this celeriac complete with roots...it's pretty ugly. Reminds me of the Ood from Dr Who. I also saw these lovely coloured carrots and a romano cauliflower so we will be having our recommended rainbow of vegetables tonight along with celeriac mash...yum!

 

The lady that served me told me that celeriac is known as the ugly one which fits the theme perfectly.

 

It was a productive day as I also got my next stranger portrait.
