This photo is of an installation currently on the UNSW campus in Kensington. It is meant to be both a public space and an art installation, and I can't help thinking that our city streets would be far more enjoyable if there was a bit more visual interest on them. It is made out of cardboard tubes and plywood and built by students at the school of built design.

 

I edited this one slightly as the bright sun had made it appear washed out. I thought the sepia look suited the colour of the cardboard tubes.
