jamelikat says: Like i said somewhere...if many households in Renassance Florence could paint Mona Lisa's but only one household can make pizzas, they'd frame the pizzas and sell it to the Medicis. Here's to this 'yayYYY' candid birdshot. Ticks many of my boxes.

jamelikat says: it's real, funny AND surreal, without pretensions or aspirations to hi-tech photography for the sake of it. and minimalistic/uncluttered for such a candid home kitchen scene.

jamelikat says: i especially like the back view version of this as it gives an unknown soldier, culturally racially anonymous look for remembrance-armistice day commemmoration.

jamelikat says: I think art.wannabe is a very good still life photographer. There's thought put into the items, especially seen for fruit and veg, the backdrop (however simple it is) in terms of how they'd interact with light, and the lighting itself. 'It's Good to Go (out from Flickr)'.

jamelikat says: I think mccullin4 is a very good experimental abstract photographer. Just take a look. This one went and won a 'Hepatitis C Trust' photo competition in April 2012. The image he submitted to such a specific body's competiion, 'Two Thingies', an abstract experiment with light-type photo showing 2 cell-like shapes, tells me that he has real world experience. It is a very reasonable submission to a Hep C Trust competition. I'm very thrilled for him. He deserves the recognition, and, without seeing the competing pieces, the win too I expect. I understand it will be printed and hung at a gallery/exhibition soon. **Here's the weblink to the competition-win announcement: www.hepctrust.org... 'It's Good to Go (out from Flickr)'
