I drove around this morning looking for something red to catch my eye. There were a bunch of these flags around the city property that shone so beautifully in the morning light. I actually put on a lens that wasn't macro and used it wide open to isolate the red flag. I got a few weird looks since this flag is basically in the parking lot so I am hunched over the curb waiting for the breeze to catch the flag. It's nothing special or unique but when we focus on things we elevate their status. My mind is on those impacted by last nights storm in Florida.
