My parents just moved 6 hours away after living in the same place for 46 years. It is bittersweet for me because now they are so far away but it is also very brave of them which I am recognizing today. Knowing that they are waking up in their new life is exciting and I am proud that they took this step. For me, this image recognizes the hard work involved in facing new and unknown challenges but there is beauty, hope and magic.
