Desert Skies Motel Gallup (New Mexico)

Gallup, sometimes called 'the Indian capital of the world', due to its large population of native American Indians from various tribes including among others Navajo Zuni and Hopi.

The railroad runs through here as well as route 66, only the railroad is far louder.

Not too impressed with Gallup, quite a run down town from what we saw, and in the hour or so we walked around taking photos, we didn't come across a single 'open' bar, or more than a handful of other souls. However, we did have a police escort in the shape of a patrol car that rumbled past every ten minutes or so.
