Road to Nowhere

A section of road, the i-40 (route 66) in the Mojave desert looking back toward the needles (black) mountain range and the quirky western/mining town of Oatman.

Nothing much around here apart from desert, mountains, Amboy (a ghost town) and Goffs (population 23 but maybe less by now) .
