Leslie Main Johnson says: Very nicely rendered zoomorphic borders, lovely overall design. And of course I enjoy the little image of Inga with her hand on the lion...Stunning contemporary Celtic/ Book of Kells work for an SCA context. Also perfect calligraphy and little embellishments...Marie de Monte is to be congratulated on very fine work.

Leslie Main Johnson says: The grace and flow of the border vines is lovely. The little dragon is very cute....and the diaper work in the background of the miniature and on the table cloth is delicate and perfect. Well done.

Leslie Main Johnson says: I love the vielle he is playing! Also the blue sheep. And what is that bird doing in David's ear!! The image is a contemporary panel painting after an original illumination in the St. Alban's Psalter. A link to the original is at www.abdn.ac.uk/~lib399/english/commentary/page056.shtml

Leslie Main Johnson says: This work is really outstanding, and very "true". Love the border....and the ladies look so affectonate. No idea what the mysterious alien looking plants are [pruned trees perhaps? or giant fantasy vines? Also like the shiny gold background behind the ladies. Cool shoes too- This is a contemporary panel painting after an illumination in the English Psalter by a Danish artist.
