Raven from Aberdeen Bestiary

As a gift to Master David of Lochmorrow on his Elevation to the Order of the Laurel, I painted the raven design from the Aberdeen Bestiary. It is painted on Arches watercolour paper. The background is flat gilded with 22Cgold leaf, and the paints are commercial goauche. The title is penned with a quill using Master Ian the Green's brazilwood ink. Gifted December 2023.
