McLaren Mercedes SLR

This photo was in a sequence of about 7 frames. Interestingly, they all came out great except for 2, which a sign was in the way. Anyway, there was a lot more in the photo, mostly a treeline in the back of the parking lot. To emphasize the speed and put more focus on the subject I cropped it to a more elongated profile. It also helps give less an impression it is in fact in a parking lot. Next, I sharpened only the in focus parts of the car. This definitely helped to make it pop more. As far as levels I did not feel much needed to be done so I neglected to. Curves was adjusted ever so slightly to help the contrast. Some of the cars in the parking lot were fairly bright colored so all color was removed except for the subject it self. Because of the subtle hints of color it helped pop the car more, but not so much were it was in your face. Next I made another Hue Adjustment layer to pop the reds in the lights and to reduce the cyans. It definitely had a bluish tint that needed to be subdued.
