Synthesized Calcite Fluorescence Spectrum 254nm

Spectrum of fluorescence stimulated by 254nm light on calcite made from combining calcium chloride with an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate. Small amounts of manganese and lead were also added. The precipitate was washed to remove the sodium chloride resulting in calcium carbonate activated with Mn and Pb.
