Peruvian Barite on Dolomite - Blue LED (magenta filter)

From Cerro Warihuyn Huanuco Dept. in Peru comes this 3" wide specimen.

Barite (FL Red, Yellowish Blue >Blue, UVabc)

 

Shown under blue LED light. Photographed using a magenta filter (laser goggles).

PHOS = Phosphorescent

Blue = 450nm,

UVa = 368nm (LW), UVb = 311nm (MW), UVc = 254nm (SW)
