Day 2 - First day in Japan

There is a lot that happened within the first 12 hours or so of my arriving in Japan that I didn't have pictures of. As soon as I landed and got out of the terminal, some student reporters stopped me and asked me if I played Pokemon Go. Apparently it still hadn't launched in Japan yet, but had in the US, and I obviously didn't look Japanese, so... yeah. I had barely played it though, so I think I disappointed them. After that, I waited half-asleep for my sister to show up and take me back to her apartment, where I'd be sleeping while I was in the country. I don't remember much after that, except it was a long train ride back, it was crowded, and I didn't understand what anyone was saying. Kind of what I expected. In the morning, I went with her to her school, Asia University, and met some of her friends and classmates in the mess hall. I was extremely tired still, and very shy around them. Since my sister was about to take a test, I didn't want to disturb her studying, so I went for a walk. The first thing I noticed was the building in the picture above. It's the typical architecture for high-rise apartments, complete with the high railing on the external stairwells. Most every building had open-air stairwells on the outside, I'm guessing to make more space on the inside. There wasn't much space to go around, as I would see.
