Purple pasque flowers at dusk

A pair of Pulsatilla vulgaris (Purple pasque flower) on a spring evening. I am not sure what the little pink flowers are - some sort of 'ground cover' plant which certainly adds interest (hopefully not too much - I think it works).

I like to think these look like a pair of lamp posts.

This was taken at dusk - 10mins before sunset, however clouds (or perhaps trees) meant it was already very dim and subdued, which gives the shot some great mood I feel, and I loved the background I was able to get using some nearby buds from yet another plant.

Normally I'm all about bright and colourful, but I like to vary things a bit, and these pasque flowers and their hairy petals/stems really come into their own at dusk I find.
