Babak (Babaky)
DIAMOND BEACH
Sunrise at Jökulsárlón, Iceland. An incredible beach situated next to a lagoon of icebergs, small pieces of which break off and float down to the see and are beached, for a short while before being melted or dragged in to the sea by the everchanging and treacherous waves (there is a story behind this adjective which will come later).
This was the only day out of our 6 day visit, during which the light Gods smiled upon us. I did realise with the first shot I took here that the sky was over filtered, but I liked the effect and continued with this set up for most of the morning.
We were lucky in that the beach was packed with icebergs, and the waves ment that the composition changed constantly, so that non of the shots I took were the same. One of my most glorious shooting experiences.
