ELGOL

Finally had a chance to sit down in front of the computer...

Also finally made it back to the isle of skye with a friend and spent the week in the campervan taking pictures..no rain, and 50% good light, so not too bad at all. Elgol has been an area which i have been longin to visit, and finally made it there, but had to go to the same spot twice to catch this shot. For those thinking of going to this wonderful spot, i would advise you to check the tides and go when there is a high tide which coincides with the sunset.. I did not manage that.

This one was a long exposure with the 10 stop which came out of the camera as you see it without any changes in colour etc. I just applied an s curve and mild sharpening. I have no idea why the sky came out so purple, but I like it..I even left the vignette....

 

I will be travelling around for the next three months and will unfortunately have no internet access for most of that time, but will try to catchup with everyone, when ever I can..
