Sometimes it's the small encounters that are somehow special ...
For many of us, from the "Muddys Community", everything is equally still and yet upside down at the moment, because you have simply gone away - to a place where we cannot follow, and which isolates us from you.
When my good friend Sully told me ... "Hey, did you hear about DJ Kai?" it kind of hit me in the stomach ... because that sentence rarely means anything good. And even though you and I were not "best friends", you were a part of my SL life. Your sets were often in my morning - perfect to wake up slowly and start the day ...
When I think of you, my first thought is "Friendly, polite, confident, balanced" - at some point you knew my name well enough that I didn't even have to wish for a song.... "Hey Ithildin, a song from Blue October for you ?!" - It is not a matter of course that a DJ remembers these preferences so easily and fulfils them ... and then even says:

On one of your sets - on 12 June 2021, you said "Oh man,... I'm really craving Cheetos right now. The SL Marketplace actually had some - so I sent them to you - Oh man, how you laughed, and stood there on stage with the oversized bag, offering me some and apologising for the "orange fingers" ...
On my birthday in August you sang "Happy Birthday!" - I will certainly never forget that serenade!
When you asked where I was from and I said "Germany", you told me how beautiful you thought Germany was - (maybe you liked it even better than I did?!). .. I mean hey - someone who lives in Hawaii - Germany really can't compete with that.... You told me that your family lived in Stuttgart for a while, that your brother worked for Mercedes ... that your father was in the Navy ...
When I noticed in August that you had changed your name in the ad, you said:

We laughed for 5 minutes afterwards, I think ...
You fulfilled my last music wish on 21st October 2021 - "Blue October" (of course, what else?!) . with "I hope you are happy" ... - and that's what I will forever associate with you.... I hope you were happy and your life was happy.... There is this saying that the meaning and happiness of a life is not the length of it, but its depth... I think you meant a lot to a lot of people and you made a lot of difference in many of our lives. Many of us will remember you forever and we will be reminded of you - when we think of you, when we hear a special song, when we think of Hawaii, ... and I when I wear green sneakers....
Thank you for everything you were and are - someone very special. For each of us here, on completely different levels.

And to you Alli - it's so hard to miss something you love so much.... But one thing we humans have over death - it can take away the person, but never the loving memories we carry in our hearts. I would like to give you a few lines from my favourite book... it says:
