"Through the looking glass, make a memory" - Charlotte Reynolds

For those who asked I will tell you that this is a story of deadh and desolation.

This is a town that was submerged for 25 years under 10 meters of salt water, due to the overflow (provoked) of the lagoon whose salinity is compared to the Dead Sea.

This was a flourishing tourist village with thousands of visitors for the curative properties of its waters until the disasters occurred, and its inhabitants had to leave their homes and businesses.

All the nature died and the constructions were destroyed below the salt water, even the cemetery.

A few years ago the town began to emerge from the waters, becoming a kind of ghost town whose destruction and desolation is truly moving.

It is increasingly visited by some people and groups of photographers interested in seeing or registering its ruins.

When I went in 2013 you could get to the pools, this time part of the ruins were again flooded due to heavy rains in the area.-
