Jazz Painting # 4 from conception to completion

My job as a news editor has been pretty demanding, so I haven't worked on and serious pieces since I finished my Chefs Illo a couple months ago.

With this new piece, I'm getting back into my work painting musicians. Another artist told me I need to have a series of pieces that hang together on the same subject matter to increase my chances for selling.

Furthermore, this will be a smaller piece, painted with ink and acrylic on 18"X24" hot press illustration board.
