Sandro Botticelli - La Bella Simonetta

La bella Simonetta means Simonetta Vespucci, a beautiful young Florentine Noble-Lady, who had been painted several times by Botticelli and other painters like Piero di Cosimo.

The present painting from the Marubeni-Collection in Tokyo exists in a very similiar copy from a follower of Botticelli (London, National Gallery).
