I read today on social media that the Wellington, New Zealand, trolleybus system will be abandoned from tomorrow - I am not sure if the whole system will fall tomorrow or if this abandonment will be in stages. Here in November 2005 an NZMB bopdied Volvo heads for the bus terminus at Wellington's Railway Station, at a time when the system - and Wellington's buses generally - were in the hands of Stagecoach.
