Tasmania Trip – Day 4 – Echidna on the road
After leaving Tahune Forest Reserve, we spotted this little cutie in the middle of the road. It is an echidna (some people call it anteater). It “tip toe” across the road. The tiny thing looks so adorable but we had no intention of touching the spiky creature. Luckily a park ranger drove pass, who skilfully pulled out its back claws, turned it upside down and carried it to the bush.
