Maija Isola Textile
Textile called "Unikko" (English: "Poppy"), designed about 1964 for the textile company Marimekko.
Isola was born in Finland. She began working as a designer for Marimekko in 1949, where she created more than 500 patterns. Several became popular internationally and are still in production, including her iconic floral "Unikko", making Isola the world's most famous textile designer of her time.
