The Pond II
(Swedish nickname: Köllera) One of seven installations during the event Lights in Alingsås 2019 – the theme of the year is "Be the Light". The pond is a part of the Nolhaga Park.

"In a world where many negative things surround us, positive energy becomes fragile and easy to forget. The energy that the installation has, is woven, bent and unexpectedly appears from all directions.
It is a reminder to take the energy that surrounds us and pass it on to others to make a positive change. A change that can carry and affect others no matter how many months and years have passed since the visit to Alingsås."
Every year in september/october leading international lighting designers come to Alingsås to hold a week´s workshop. The participants came this year from 27 countries around the world. Together they light a number of locations around the town centre. More than 80,000 visitors every year walk the spectacular lighting trail or participate in events associated with the festival.
