Bourgeau Lake

This has to be one of my all-time favourite hikes in the Canadian Rockies. The weather was perfect, and the terrain a great challenge, with lots of changing light and interesting natural features. The lake made for a spectacular lunch spot before continuing along the trail up to the summit of Mount Bourgeau.
