First day with an iPhone and I decided to test out the capabilities. After hearing so many great reviews of the camera, I was excited to try it out. In fact, I chose the iPhone because the only camera phone that receives consistently better reviews (Nokia N8) isn't available with my service. All in all, I think it does a really good job, especially with a couple low price apps like HDR pro and others which increase it's range of options but make it more complicated. I was able to achieve good results (in nearly ideal conditions) with almost no manual editing or manipulation using HDR Pro or the basic camera.
I really should have done some more editing with dodging and burning to emphasize the subject and de-emphasize distracting detail, but I was aiming to show what was capable without any manual manipulation.
