Maple Heaven.
This is part of the Snoqualmie Valley trail system that begins in Duvall, Washington, and (I believe) ends in Snoqualmie, Washington. It may go further up the road towards Snoqualmie Pass, but I'm not sure. It's an old train route where the tracks have been taken up. It's not paved, but it's compacted very well. I've cycled it, and walked it. And once, last winter when I was photographing it, I saw, coming down the path, out of the misty snow, two women on a sled pulled by a team of Huskies. Not something you see everyday.
This part is straight as an arrow, but much of it curves around bogs, a river, and several beaver ponds.
