Hand-built 16mm submini
16mm still camera by unknown maker. Hand-built, may have had a covering on it at one time, or had been prepped for cover. The viewfinder is reminiscent of the Argus D, but there is no hint of any connection to any manufacturer, though the workmanship is quite sophisticated, so it could have been a commercial prototype that never made it into production. Hand-engraved focusing distances and f/stops suggest a European source, both in their form and intervals. It has a multi-speed self-capping cylinder shutter. Made entirely of brass, it is a very heavy camera.
