100 seconds to midnight

This electric storm image was taken next to the town of Exeter in Nebraska. This is 5 images taken in succession and stacked, each image exposure is 20 seconds, making a total time of 100 seconds recorded in this one image.

Supercell storms with this much lightning are quite rare, and this is the most lightning I have ever seen on one storm.

To make this image even more special is the amount of glowing firefly's zooming around over the ground.

I hope everyone is staying safe in these unprecedented times.

I have had to cancel workshops that I have planned until further notice, but our Isles of Harris workshop in October is still open for bookings, you can find out more details from the link below, or drop me a message for more details, cheers 👍

*** Thanks for everyone's nice comments! have a great Easter Sunday! ***
