Corrour & Mrs Morgan

Chris Burton sends this wonderfully nostalgic view and says "Gerard, came across this memory jerker yesterday, here are the details: Corrour Station on the West Highland. The 'Control Room' a few months before Mr and Mrs Morgan (latter pictured) were displaced by the Radio Signalling system based at Banavie near Fort William.

On the rather grey and gloomy afternoon of 18 September 1987, Christine Morgan kindly and patiently poses for a time exposure on the photographer's Nikon F, with 24mm Nikkor. FP4 was the film. I believe the couple continued living here and fulfilling their tasks of ferrying supplies and post from train to Ossian Hostel, about a mile from the station. Quite a challenge in much of the weather experienced there".
