Corvette C2 Convertible
This roughly miniland scale 1968 Corvette C2 was my first serious foray into the automotive genre, and I've learned that cars can be both incredibly fun to build, and a pain in the rear. I'd more or less completed the nose section up to the windshield when I realized the proportions were wrong, and I had to disassemble the whole thing and add an extra stud down the middle. (This did, however, allow the opportunity to add racing stripes (: ) All in all it took me the better part of three weeks, but I'm very pleased with the result. Headlights pop up, doors open, functional steering, and and what convertible would be complete without a surfboard?
