1993 Toyota Camry MAF sensor
Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor from a 1993 Toyota Camry (wagon).
Generally, in discussions about how to clean an MAF, people always say "spray the two wires" (usually) that are the MAF's actual "sensor" area.
In most the pictures I can find online, however, those wires, or wire, are exposed, allowing you to spray them with MAF cleaner.
My MAF, however, appears to have the sensor part in this plastic enclosure, making it impossible to get to without tearing the whole MAF body apart, and the area I'd have to take apart is sealed with some sort of sealant, not screws, so I can't imagine getting it back together again.
And it _looks_ dirty in there, doesn't it?
I have half a mind to poke a hole at the end of the plastic enclosure and squirt the MAF cleaner spray in there that way.
Anyone have suggestions? Please not I have never fixed cars before the trouble I'm having currently: Vehicle starts no problem but stalls when idling after engine is hot, and problem is worse when air is humid (rain, snow).
