naemet mokhtar (wip)
this is a pencil drawing i'm working on of one of my favorite golden age egyptian belly dancers, naemet mokhtar. i did use a grid for her outline, but in an attempt to wean myself off the grid, i drew in her face, and filled in the rest of the outline after i erased the grid. here's a link to the vid i drew her from (paused @ 1:25). she does a KILLER backbend @ 1:34...no trick photography folks, she really does it...and in 4" heels!!! lol...i'm really interested to see how i handle the beadwork on her costume. and oh yeah, watch it in high quality.
