12004

When I was a child, railway books would sometimes picture these streamlined Belgian 4.4.2s as an example of exotic foreign traction. The six SNCB class 12 Atlantics were built just before the war and survived until 1962, 12004 being preserved. Although currently on static display, it has been out on the main line in the past, seen here at Ghent on 29 September 1985.
