Dornoch
A top up for regular branch engine 55051 before returning to The Mound in July 1955. The 50 year old ex-HR 0.4.4T would be withdrawn the following year, to leave sister 55053 to carry on for a few months more. The seven and three-quarter mile branch closed in 1960. Apart from the pile of wood (shed repairs??), the whole station area looks neat and tidy.
