No.10 at Betteshanger was Hunslet 3827, one of a pair of Austerity 0.6.0STs bought in 1954. It was scrapped in 1970, while the other one, HE3825, went to Snowdown Colliery in 1972 where it was preserved following withdrawal in 1981.
