On the second day we decided to take the dogs for a walk. When we hit heavy brambles the Eli, the dogs and co. turned back and I decided to keep going, aiming for those rocks that you can just barely see in the distance. About halfway through I found a good-sized rock formation and climbed to the top of it to take this picture.
Things have recently settled in to a routine out here, between my new job at Volunteermatch, the constant expansion of AVEN, and my skylarking around the San Francisco nonprofit sector. And though a lot of it is exciting, all of it has been pretty easygoing. I find myself in a place with a lot of room, a lot of resources and a lot of stability, which is great but also daunting. I'm not struggling like I have in the past, and as a result I'm not feeling things quite as strongly. That being said, it's pretty amazing to wake up and spend most of the day accomplishing things.
