Eyeing off bad guys? Or yum, yum!

An iconic Australian "Blue" Cattle Dog at the Eumundi Markets - eye on some food no doubt. Blue is the more common variety (the other is red like our Bella). Notice how the combination of black and grey/white tends to give a bluish shade. Bandit and Bluey of "Bluey" fame are blues while Mum, Chilli and Bingo are reds. The half and half colouring of the head is typical. They are absolutely beautiful and wonderful dogs. Strangely, the Australian traditional colloquialism "Blue or Bluey" used as a man's name means he has red hair. It is not much in common use these days, drowned out by social media Americanisms.
