St Patrick's private boys school is located in the heart of Brisbane's Bayside suburban Shorncliffe. This mural pays tribute to and acknowledges the local First Nations people, original owners of the land on a water tank in the front of the grounds.
Dugongs, dolphins, turtles and kangaroos are featured, all living in and around Moreton Bay (which is just across the street) and the Glasshouse Mountains in the rear which on most fine days can be seen from the vantage point of the hill at Shorncliffe on which the suburb rests. The mural also features hand prints, a common feature of First Nations art.
