How many Imperials?
The last town before Tamworth and half way from Barraba is Manilla of about 2000 residents and displaying some more lovely heritage building. Built in 1900, which it proudly displays The Imperial Hotel, Manilla sits proudly in the main street and looking pretty good. There is another Imperial pub up the road at Bingara. And about 100 more throughout Australia!
