Mowed down.
The other day I posted a tranquil scene on Yabba Creek in the Mary River Valley of SE Queensland. The road we were on lead from the small town of Imbil to Borumba Dam and follows the creek.
In this scene, you can see the effects of the February floods which were near enough records in this area. The wall of water that was smashing down this creek has knocked over the trees and scoured out the bank on the right hand side and also burst the banks. It looks quiet and pretty now but I cannot imagine what it was like at the height of the flood.
