Bumpy and abandoned.
Not far from us is a massive Council built skate only fairly recently opened. The kids love it, whether riding their skateboards, roller blades or scooters and it has many interesting features and challenges. One of the sad effects of COVID 19 is that it, like all other parks and playgrounds were closed down.
But those restrictions have been lifted now and the kids are back. And for most, some additional excitement (and for the parents who have been battling with home schooling as well) this weekend as Grades 3-10 return to school on Monday. The others went back two weeks ago.
As almost anyone will know, hearing happy kids laughing and enjoying themselves has to be one of the best sounds in the world - certainly the opposite is one of the worst.
