Arise my sweet!

Brunswick Heads is a delightful town at the mouth of the Brunswick River in northern New South Wales with the usual lovely Pacific Ocean beach. Benefitting from being pretty close to Brisbane via the upgraded Pacific Highway and probably also a spill over of people tired of the crowds at nearby Byron Bay, it is also now booming. The day we went there in early November 2019, we could hardly move or find a park. It was already hot too and the bushfires that got a grip of the east coast were already raging in the general vicinity.

Like many places in this area it is also a funky little town with great coffee shops and attractive frontages.

The Brunswick Picture House was reopened in 2016 and as you can see has that air about it, has joined the Funky Club by setting itself back to an earlier era.
