My hero

My husband Barry made me fall in love with him more last night!! Our daughter Aimee has Type 1 diabetes and was at a friends for an overnight. There was a problem with her pump and no insulin was being delivered. I got several calls from my friend who was keeping her and after several no delivery messages, we got concerned. My husband, is a fireman and was on duty last night. His station is close to our friends house and when I called and asked if he could get to her first, he went into daddy mode. He was alot closer and our house is a bit further. It was 11 p.m. and off he went. I loved driving up to my friends house seeing his truck out front and knowing he was taking care of his baby girl. He is a good daddy, husband and man and the love level I have for him got bumped up a notch last night.

By the way, Aimee was okay when we got home and switched everything out.
