Someone I met today.
I placed him on the retainer wall in the back so that he would be able to get to the field where it's safer, but when I tried to take another photo he got spooked and ran off the wall back into my yard. I tried to catch him again but after several failed attempts I figured that he was traumatized enough so I rounded up all the cats and brought them inside so that he could find a hiding place. UPDATE: The next day Lily (my 80 lb. dog that thinks she's a lap dog) was sitting and staring at the retainer wall for some time. I couldn't figure out what she was looking at as I moved some of the leaves and debris and saw nothing. After a while this little guy reappeared and ran along the wall. I was able to catch him and place him near the opening in the fence. He played dead for a bit but then ran out to the field when I nudged his bottom. I am very happy about this as I was scared that the cats would catch him if he stayed.
