pan dorro'r wawr

‘as the day breaks’

Dyma’r wawr yn torri â cherflun Dic Evans yn ei wylio ym Moelfre heddiw. Roedd yn fore braf gyda naws gwanwynol hyfryd. Rhaid dweud fod rhai o ‘ymwewlwyr’ eleni wedi cyrraedd. Yn agos i’r lan, plymiai nifer o fôr-wenoliaid i’r dŵr. Pysgotwyr cyntaf y diwrnod. Ymhellach ar hyd y llwybr, daeth pedwar tinwen i gadw cwmni i mi. Yn herian i mi chawarae ‘tic’ wrth fflitian o wrychyn i wrychyn. Tybed sawl milltir oedd yr adar yma wedi hedfan i dreulio haf ar arfordir Môn?

The statue of Dic Evans watches the day break at Moelfre today. A lovely morning with a definite feel of spring. Safe to say that some of this year’s ‘visitors’ have arrived already. A number of terns were diving into the water not far from the shore. The day’s first fishermen. Further along the path, four wheaters kept me company. They seem to dare me play ‘tag’ by flitting from hedge to hedge just in front of me. How many thousands of miles have these birds flown to spend a summer on Anglesey’s coast?

For Cliche Saturday... dawn..sunrise...playing with light...silhouettes ...HCS!
